The residence showcases Qian Zhongshu’s extraordinary life using modern display methods, divided into five parts: ‘Quick-witted and studious’ and ‘A Dragon among Men’ reflect Qian Zhongshu’s educational journey; ‘Diligent tilling’ and ‘Literary Master’ reflect Qian Zhongshu’s achievements as a scholar, professor, poet, and writer in literary creation; ‘Scholar of Heaven and Man’ and ‘Cultural Kunlun’ reflect Qian Zhongshu’s contributions to Chinese culture, writing millions of words of academic masterpieces; ‘Globally acclaimed’ and ‘Illuminating future generations’ reflect Qian Zhongshu’s influence as an outstanding intellectual and scholar of the twentieth century; ‘Qian Shengwu Hall’ and ‘A succession of talents’ reflect the brilliant achievements of other distinguished members of the Qian family. The residence is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 16:30; it is closed all day on Mondays.
