Japanese Z-Generation popular band chilldspot is embarking on their first China tour in 2025. This ultra-talented and popular band, chilldspot, hails from Tokyo and is composed of four members: Bi Yu Gen (lead vocals/guitar), Ling Shan (guitar), Xiao Qi (bass), and Justin (drums). All band members were born in 2002. In December 2019, the band was established and began their activities. A year later, during their high school years, they released their first EP, officially announcing their emergence in the Japanese music scene.
With their unique personality and presence, in January 2021, chilldspot was selected by Spotify as one of the most anticipated new-generation artists of the year. In July of the same year, they were chosen by YouTube Music as part of the ‘Foundry’ program, which supports globally anticipated artists, drawing widespread attention. Their dynamic creativity and the vitality of their live performances are continuously expanding the musical influence of the Z-Generation, demonstrating their strong and distinctive presence.
chilldspot has performed at major music festivals such as COUNTDOWN JAPAN, SUMMER SONIC, and JAPAN JAM, showcasing a mature performance and stage control that contrasts with their youthful experience, earning them excellent reviews. At the 2024 Beijing Strawberry Music Festival, chilldspot captivated many Chinese music fans with their free-flowing music and powerful live performance. After a half-year hiatus, following a new round of thirteen-city tours in Japan, they return with their new EP ‘echowaves’ and kick off their first China tour.

On January 11th (Saturday), Chilldspot is set to perform at Yuyintang Music Park in Shanghai. The concert is scheduled to start at 20:00 and will run until 22:00. Doors open on 01/11, Saturday. Please note that the actual duration of the performance is subject to the on-site schedule.
