Nantong Museum is the first public museum independently established by Chinese people. It is shady with green trees and has a beautiful environment. Taking a stroll here is very pleasant. Several buildings located here are the exhibition halls of the museum. The museum is divided into two parts: the new hall and the old hall. The new hall is on the southwest side of the park. Here, you can visit cultural relics such as exquisite jade carvings and porcelain. The old hall mainly displays the life of Zhang Jian and some of his collections. Opening hours: From April 1st to September 28th, it is open from 5:30 to 18:00; from November 1st to December 31st, it is open from 5:30 to 17:00; from January 1st to March 31st, it is open from 5:30 to 17:00; from October 5th to October 31st, it is open from 5:30 to 18:00; from September 29th to October 4th, it is open from 5:30 to 21:00. Indoor exhibitions: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 – 17:00 (entry stops at 16:30), closed on Mondays (except legal holidays).
