Manshan Island is situated in the southeast waters of Taihu Lake, an island surrounded by water on all sides and the third largest island in the lake. It faces Sanyang Village and Situ Temple to the northeast, and overlooks the Taihu Lake Bridge to the southeast. As an essential part of the Guangfu scenic area within Taihu Lake, it is subordinate to Guangfu Town in Wuzhong District, boasting an exceptionally superior ecological environment.
Manshan Island is characterized by mountains to the north and south, and islets to the east and west, with a lake in the middle and mountains beyond the mountains. It is a corner forgotten by ‘God,’ which, in turn, has shaped its unique temperament—quaint, pure, and natural. Stroll along the Love Causeway to experience the grandeur of the Taihu sunset; Dongdong Mountain and Dongtou Mountain are distributed to the north and south, allowing you to overlook the island’s scenery.
