Longbei Mountain National Forest Park is located to the south of Yixing city, featuring gentle hills, lush greenery, and smooth asphalt roads known as the ‘Health Trail’ that encircles the entire park, making it particularly suitable for cycling and walking. The amusement facilities in Longbei Mountain Amusement Park also make the park an excellent destination for family outings.
The Jingxi Gate, Yangxian Gate, and Taodu Gate of Longbei Mountain National Forest Park are arranged from west to east in the north of the park, with the Yangxian Gate being the main entrance where the visitor center is located. Upon entering through the Yangxian Gate, several artificial waterfalls catch the eye, and not far to the east lies the amusement park, where rides such as the Ferris wheel and roller coaster require additional fees. Families with children tend to congregate on the large lawn at the entrance and in the amusement park to play.
Given the park’s vast size, it is recommended to rent a bicycle at the entrance if you wish to explore deeper into the park. There are also sightseeing vehicles available at the entrance that go to Wenfeng Tower, with an additional charge. The three main exhibition halls in the park, the Literary and Art Celebrities Hall, the Science and Education Celebrities Hall, and the Historical Celebrities Hall, are worth visiting. These halls feature图文并茂宜兴名人 and display physical artifacts such as purple sand pots, embroidery, and paintings.
