The Xiaotangshan Guoshi Tomb Stone Shrine is located on the top of Xiaotangshan Mountain (formerly known as Wushan Mountain) in Xiaoli Sub-district, Changqing District, Jinan City. It is adjacent to the Yellow River in the west and leans against the Qi Great Wall in the south. It is about 40 kilometers away from downtown Jinan. The stone shrine was built in the early Eastern Han Dynasty. The Xiaotangshan Guoshi Tomb Stone Shrine is of all-stone structure and single-eaved overhanging gable style.
There are 36 groups of carvings on the east, west, and north walls and the partition beams inside the shrine, including scenes of carriages and horses traveling, feasting, hunting, and variety shows. There are a large number of inscriptions and ink inscriptions left by past dynasties on the inner and outer walls of the shrine. The Xiaotangshan Guoshi Tomb Stone Shrine is a relatively complete stone relief shrine preserved so far. It is an earlier existing ground-level building in China. It provides precious materials for studying Han Dynasty stone relief art, the history of building construction, and Han Dynasty politics, economy, culture, art, folk customs, etc.Opening hours: Open from 08:30 to 17:30 all year round.
