Shouguang Vegetable High-Tech Demonstration Park (hereinafter referred to as the Demonstration Park) is one of the first national agricultural science and technology parks named by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The main exhibition area covers a total of 450,000 square meters, including 165,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space, featuring ten exhibition halls, a solar greenhouse high-yield cultivation area, a vegetable museum, a leisure farm, and an outdoor exhibition area.
It encompasses sectors such as vegetable seedling cultivation, standard production, processing and sales, exhibition exchanges, sightseeing tourism, and research and training. The park is a national demonstration base for the introduction of foreign intellectual achievements, a national agricultural tourism demonstration site, a national science education base, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, and a provincial-level research base for primary and secondary school students in Shandong Province. Every year from April 20th to May 30th, the China (Shouguang) International Vegetable Science and Technology Expo is held, which has been successfully organized for 24 sessions, attracting over 32 million visitors from more than 50 countries, regions, and 31 provinces, cities, autonomous regions, and special administrative regions, achieving a trade volume of over 220 billion yuan.
