Puyang Museum is located in Puyang City, Henan Province. It was established in 1984. It includes sixteen categories such as ceramics, calligraphy and paintings, coins, stone tools, bone and mussel wares, and bronzes. The cultural relics warehouse is a three-story cement brick-concrete building with a construction area of 1020 square meters. The office building is a corner-type two-story cement brick-concrete building with a construction area of 1000 square meters.
There are six departments and one office inside: the storage department, the exhibition department, the display department, the publicity and education department, the security department and the office. The museum has seven exhibition halls: ‘Exhibition of Advanced Deeds of Li Wenxiang, Li Liancheng and Li Quanfang’, ‘Li Fangyu Calligraphy and Painting Art Museum’, ‘Exhibition of Advanced Deeds of Li Quanqing’, ‘Basic Historical Display’, ‘Red Puyang’, ‘Dragon Vein and Dragon Charm’. In addition, there are also colorful temporary exhibitions. The exhibitions reproduce the civilized achievements and vicissitudes of history of Puyang from ancient times to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods and even since the Qin and Han dynasties to modern and contemporary Chinese revolutions from a panoramic and multi-angle perspective, as well as the very modern ‘Three Li’ spirit. As of 2012, Puyang Museum has successively won honorary titles such as ‘Puyang City Patriotic Education Demonstration Base’ and ‘Citywide Party Member and Cadre Training Base’.
