On May 11, 2018, invested and built by Shangmingxuan Tea Company. It is built on the old factory buildings, old equipment and old tea gardens of the original state-owned and state-operated Hongxing Tea Farm. The total construction area is about 4,000 square meters. It is a black tea museum in Guangdong – Shangmingxuan Black Tea Museum officially opened to the public. The museum is divided into nine exhibition halls. Through the ‘Tea Preface Hall’, ‘Tea History Hall’, ‘Tea Processing Equipment Exhibition Hall’, ‘World Tea Culture Hall’, ‘Yingde Tea Culture Hall’, ‘Shangmingxuan Culture Hall’, ‘Multimedia Hall’, ‘Product Display and Exhibition Hall’, and ‘Tea-making Experience Area’, it shows the world the general development of profound Chinese tea culture and world black tea culture.
Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 18:00.
