The Red Army Long March Xiangjiang Battle Memorial Park is located in Caowan Town, Quanzhou County, Guilin, and is the site of one of the three major battles of the Xiangjiang Campaign, the Jiaoshanpu Counterattack. The memorial park mainly consists of the memorial hall area and the memorial forest area.
The memorial hall is divided into three floors, with the exhibition content divided into seven sections. Through a large number of valuable images and artifacts, it presents a panoramic view of the arduous and glorious journey of the Red Army and vividly portrays the great spirit of the Long March.
The second major part, ‘Bloody Battle of Xiangjiang Breaking Through the Encirclement’, uses modern sound, light, and electricity technology, 3D digital technology, and scene restoration, combined with historical images, cultural relics, artworks, and crafts, to dynamically and statically recreate the process of the Xiangjiang Battle, highlighting its tragic grandeur.
Opening Hours: Closed all day on Mondays throughout the year; Open from 09:00 to 17:00 on Tuesdays to Sundays throughout the year; Open from 09:00 to 17:00 on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day.
