Qian Lu Lake Scenic Area is an integral part of the Zhongshan River National Wetland Park in Wu Ping, covering a total area of 4197 acres. It is named for its thousand-acre wetland and paradise for white herons. In August 2019, it was selected as one of the first batch of Wu Ping County primary and secondary school research practice education bases. In October 2019, it was awarded the title of ‘National Nature Education School’, and in December 2020, it was rated as a ‘National 4A Tourist Scenic Spot’.
Qian Lu Lake Scenic Area places a high emphasis on the protection of wetland resources and has planned and created five major camps, namely ‘Valley of Pines’, ‘Valley of Dreams’, ‘Valley of Stars’, ‘Valley of Wind’, and ‘Valley of Wilderness’, according to the distribution of business formats. It aims to introduce high-quality homestays, RV and tent camping, family amusement parks, off-road beach vehicles, off-road cycling, bumper cars, target shooting, and live CS games that align with modern cultural leisure tourism. The area integrates leisure, entertainment, sports, research, team building, and accommodation, broadening the development space of the scenic area and optimizing the tourism environment, thereby enhancing the overall service and reception capabilities.
Capitalizing on the natural ecological resources of the wetland, the scenic area introduces nature-derived handicraft experiences and outdoor expansion experiences. It organizes various activities such as tourism health preservation, scientific research, off-road sports, and team building expansion, fully leveraging the ecological environment advantages of the national wetland park to create a ‘National Rare Ecological Cultural Leisure Tourism Health Preservation Model’.
