Nanhu Wetland Park is a large water entertainment, tourism and leisure resort scenic area planned in northern Anhui. At present, the park is rich in wild wetland plant resources. There are more than 100 families of various plants. There are more than 36 families and 74 species of wetland plants alone. There are more than 20 kinds of migratory birds, 18 kinds of aquatic fish and various wetland mammals such as pikas, hares and ground squirrels. Every year, a large number of migratory birds, such as wild geese and white cranes, migrate and inhabit in the wetland park. Thousands of other birds overwinter here. Since the protection and construction of the park, the sewage treatment facilities have been improved to prevent pollution sources from entering the wetland. At the same time, 20,000 cubic meters of purified water enters the lake area every day to make it flow and circulate. Coupled with the natural purification of plants, the water quality is maintained above Class II standards all year round. The overall framework of Nanhu Wetland Park has been established. According to the overall planning, it will be built into a comprehensive service area, a themed water culture area, a teaching and research popular science area, a wetland core protection area, a waterfront activity area, a water activity area and a northern square area. Open all day all year round.
