The bridge with a tree on it is located in Sanhuan Village, Caocun Town, Yongqiao District, Suzhou City, Anhui Province. According to an inscription, it was built in 1736 (the first year of Qianlong period in the Qing Dynasty). A few years after the bridge was built, a Pterocarya stenoptera grew in the crack of the bridge. As time went by, the bridge and the tree merged and became a scenic spot.
