Jinghe Park is located along the Jinghe River, on the bank of Tengzhou City, on the west side of Shanguo South Road. It is built on the water and land after the city moat is curved. The park was constructed in March 1985. After seven or eight years of efforts. Built in 1985, it covers an area of 225 mu, of which 85 mu is water surface. It is a relatively large public amusement place in Tengzhou City, Shandong Province. There are rockeries, Mozi Academy, Guanjing Pavilion, roller skating rink, bonsai garden, etc., becoming a good place for people to have fun and rest. There is a poem praising: “Looking at Longshan in the distance, the morning clouds are light. The morning glow dyes the bridge pavilion. The Jingquan spring brings a bay of green, with peach blossoms and green grass everywhere.” The park construction is based on the traditional classical garden style. The high parts are sparse and the low parts are cultivated. Surrounding the water forms a lake. Gathering sand forms an island. It is deliberately decorated to create a natural beauty. There are overlapping mountains and lush greenery. The water surrounds the buildings and gardens. Lingering between the mountains and waters and among the pavilions and terraces, one can find elegance in the emptiness and grace in the simplicity. It makes people enjoy the pleasures of springs and forests and fulfill their aspirations for birds. It is elegant and free from vulgarity. The east gate of Jinghe Park is located on Shanguo South Road and is the entrance to Jinghe Park. It is an antique building with a hip roof. On the middle lintel are the four big characters “Jinghe Park”, written by Mr. Wang Xuezhong, a famous calligrapher from Tengzhou.

Every year, Jinghe Park holds a variety of cultural and entertainment activities such as the Mozi International Art Festival, the Golden Autumn Lantern Show, exhibitions of works by famous calligraphers and painters inside and outside the province, exhibitions of flower bonsai, root carvings and rare stones, the Lantern Festival Lantern Show, and summer amusement park activities. It is open all day throughout the year.
