Located at the northeast corner of Ma Jian Lane, there stands an abandoned ancient well, which is the second well of Ma Jian Lane. The well mouth and both sides have long been enclosed with iron railings, and the stone slabs of the well body faintly display the words ‘Ma Jian Well’. According to the elderly in the lane, this well was also on the verge of being buried and forgotten. Several years ago, an elder self-funded the demolition of the structure that had been pressing down on it. The well is open all year round, accessible 24/7.
