Longchuan Square is located at the southwest corner of the central area of Jiangdu District, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is an important part of the Yinjiang Scenic Area. This first-class ‘city living room’ in the province has a total area of 100,000 square meters. Based on the division of functional areas, both the whole and the parts reflect the essence of ‘Longchuan culture’, gather the rich connotations of ‘the soul of the dragon’ and ‘the charm of the river’, and integrate modern expression techniques to show the harmonious unity of humans and nature. It cleverly reveals the themes of ‘dragon’, ‘water’, and ‘green’. At the main entrance at the north end of the sunken square, there is a natural lying stone engraved with the four characters ‘Longchuan Square’ inscribed by Shen Peng, the chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. Water gushes out from under the stone and cascades down layer by layer along ‘Longchuan’ and flows into the ‘Dragon Pool’ in the center of the square. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the opening situation on that day.
