The Jia’s Salt Merchant Residence is located on Guangling Road, Guangling District, Yangzhou City. It consists of two parts: the garden and the Erfen Mingyue Tower garden, covering an area of about 3200 square meters. Among them, the garden was built by salt merchant Jia Songping during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The Erfen Mingyue Tower garden was built by Yuan’s family during the Daoguang period and was purchased and incorporated by the Jia family during the Guangxu period.
