Ding’s Salt Merchant Residence is located at No. 12 Di Guan Di in the urban area. The residence of salt merchant Ding Yi Chen. The existing brick-carved gate tower, main hall, second hall, and residential buildings span five sections, covering an area of approximately 600 square meters. The main hall features a hard mountain top, with three bays in width and seven purlins in depth, constructed with fir wood beams. There are roll-up sheds at the front and back, with corridors connecting the sides to the south of the hall, and the exterior walls of both gable ends are embedded with six stone carvings of the ‘Xi Yue Hua Shan Temple Stele’. The site is open all year round, with full-day access to the exterior.
