Yang Guifei’s former residence is located about five kilometers from the county town of Rong County, Guangxi, in Yangwai Village. The village where Yang Guifei was born is nestled deep within rolling hills, with a small river meandering south from Wandu Field, eventually joining the Xiu River at Shili Market. Along the riverbank, there are scattered rice paddies, surrounded by verdant mountains, with farmhouses and villages hidden among lychee and pomelo groves. Nearby, clusters of Lingyun spotted bamboo and the nationally protected tree species Ge Mu can also be found. This region boasts clear waters and picturesque scenery. The village currently houses the remains of Yang Guifei’s temple, the noble lady’s well, and to the east of the county town, there are the remains of Yang Guifei’s dressing table.
