Ziyun Wonderland, also known as Ziyun Cave, is located in Hezhou and dates back to the Jurassic period. The cave gets its name from the warm air that emerges from the cave mouth during winter, creating a mist that lingers around the entrance, resembling an ethereal fairyland. Inside, various stalactites, stalagmites, and stone pillars inspire the imagination. Walking through Ziyun Cave, one can experience the tranquility of Hezhou’s Guba Mountain and appreciate the uniqueness of Hezhou’s Jade Stone Forest.
The scenic area is somewhat remote, attracting mostly self-driving tourists, which contributes to its quiet and less crowded atmosphere. The area is not large, and it can be toured within about an hour. It is open year-round from 08:30 to 17:30.
