The site of the Weaving Bureau is located under the Daicheng Bridge in the urban area (now the southwestern part of Suzhou No.10 High School). It is one of the ‘Three Weaving Bureaus of the South of the Yangtze River’. Inside the Weaving Bureau, there is a famous Taihu stone named ‘Rui Yun Peak’, which is praised as ‘the most delicate and skillful in the south of the Yangtze River’. The original Weaving Bureau was quite large in scale, equipped with halls, gardens, workshops, and official residences, covering a vast area.
