Yuhan Hall, also known as Wu Yipeng’s former residence, is a well-preserved Ming Dynasty residential building located outside Suzhou City. It was constructed in the tenth year of the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty, which dates back over five hundred years. The residence covers an area of 4,896 square meters with a construction area of 5,468 square meters. Yuhan Hall (Wu Yipeng’s former residence) is a typical Jiangnan residential architecture. The house is currently divided into four sections and five progressions; aside from the main hall, Yuhan Hall, which is a remnant of the Ming Dynasty, the rest are buildings from the Qing Dynasty and the early twentieth century. Open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 08:00 to 20:00; closed all day on Mondays.
