Wumen Bridge is an ancient bridge in Suzhou City, spanning over the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the south of Suzhou City. It serves as the main passage to and from Panmen. The bridge is over 66 meters long, 5 meters wide, and approximately 10 meters high, making it one of the largest single-arch stone bridges in Jiangsu Province. Originally constructed during the Northern Song Dynasty, the current stone bridge was rebuilt in 1872. The towering stone bridge, along with the nearby Panmen City Tower and Ruiguang Pagoda, forms a scenic group in the southern part of Suzhou City. It is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
