Xishi Island is an island in Lihu Lake. It is composed of three small islands connected by corridors and trestle bridges. It is in the shape of a Chinese character ‘pin’. It faces Zhenbao Fang of Hubin Hotel across the lake. It is south of Venice Garden and east of Lihu Bridge. Based on historical records of Fan Li and Xi Shi’s seclusion, the pavilions, terraces, and buildings on the island are all built accordingly. The main buildings on the island include a ship, Tao Zhu Residence, exhibition and performance hall, embroidery building, Yiguang Teahouse, Sanzu Hall, cruise ship dock, etc. The island reproduces the romantic love story of Fan Li and Xi Shi boating on Lihu Lake and folk legends such as Fan Li and Xi Shi teaching local people to raise fish, grow bamboo, make pottery, and do business through various forms of expression. Opening hours: Open all year round from 7:00 to 17:00.
