The Wang Tao Memorial Hall is the former residence of the Wang family. It is a residence with Qing Dynasty architectural style and is divided into three parts: the exhibition room of Wang Tao’s life story, Wang Tao’s former residence, and Taoyuan. In the middle of the hall stands a tall wooden carved screen. In front of the screen is a bronze bust of Wang Tao. The pillars in the hall are engraved with couplets written by Wang Tao himself: ‘Dressed in short clothes and riding alone on horseback, following Li Guang. Sitting in a paper pavilion with reed curtains, facing Meng Guang.’ There is also a couplet presented by Kang Youwei to Wang Tao back then: ‘Thoughts are in the sky, and affairs are lofty and magnificent.’ Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 17:00; Open all year round from 08:00 to 16:30. Ticket sales time: 7:30 – 16:45 in summer, 8:00 – 16:15 in winter.
