Le Yin Garden was originally the reading place of Qu Xiaozhen, a hermit in the Song Dynasty. Located in Shaxi Town, it has the reputation of a famous garden in the south of the Yangtze River. It covers an area of 22.5 mu, with a water surface of 5 mu. The buildings are built near the pond. The whole garden is divided into three parts: central, eastern and western. The pond is in the middle, surrounded by rockeries, corridors, waterside pavilions, flower halls, hexagonal pavilions and Tongjin Road. The gate and wall imitate the entrance of Humble Administrator’s Garden in Suzhou. There is a small flower hall on the north side, and a carved hall on the west side. The carvings on the beams are exquisite.
Opening hours: From January 1st to December 31st, it is open from 08:00 to 17:00.
