The Guangfu Pagoda, situated atop Turtle Hill (Ta Mountain), is the emblem of Guangfu Town. The pagoda, with its square shape and four sides, consists of seven levels and rises over 20 meters high. Constructed with a combination of brick and wood, it exudes an air of antiquity. On the west side of the ground floor, there is an archway, and from the second level upwards, there are pot-shaped doors on all four sides. Each level features Buddha niches on the inner walls of the doors, and the top is adorned with various ceiling designs including square, circular, and octagonal patterns. The ground floor of the pagoda is equipped with a corridor, and each level has a floorboard, allowing visitors to ascend step by step. Due to its strategic positioning and the surrounding scenery, the pagoda offers a sense of being ‘already in a painting without being in one.’ Climbing to the top of the pagoda and gazing upon Tianping and Lingyan mountains, one feels as if they are just an arm’s length away. The pagoda is open all year round and is accessible 24 hours a day.
