Baoyan Ecological Sightseeing Garden is located in the green valley of Cangshan at Baoyan Bay at the southern foot of Yushan Mountain. It is a natural ecological park with rich forest landscapes in Yushan National Forest Park. It is mainly composed of a large area of natural coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests. There are a wide variety of forest plants. Forest plant ecological parks such as three-dimensional cultivation gardens of fruit tea, boutique fruit tree gardens, ornamental bamboo species gardens, and bayberry variety gardens have been built.
The main scenic spots include Fuhai Pool, Baoyan Garden, Jiefu Stone, Gege Bridge, etc. Every June and July, the bayberries in Baoyan turn red and purple, attracting tourists from all directions. They come in a continuous stream and are reluctant to leave. The folk custom of ‘watching bayberries, going to Baoyan’ that has formed in more than 900 years has endured.Opening hours: Open all year round from 8:00 to 16:00.
