This exhibition is the third installment of the ‘World History of Civilization’ series of international cooperation exhibitions between the Suzhou Museum and the British Museum. It mainly exhibits ancient Assyrian cultural relics from the British Museum. Through the perspective of Ashurbanipal, the last monarch of the ancient Assyrian kingdom, it tells the stories of the Assyrian Empire in various aspects such as military, culture, and life, presenting the splendid Assyrian civilization and its influence.


Opening hours: From May 1st to August 4th, open from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 – 17:00. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
