Xiao Taoyuan Garden is located at the foot of the ancient city wall on the south side of Yijiang Gate, facing the moat with a serene and tranquil environment, making it an open leisure green space.

Xiao Taoyuan shares the same water body with the Xiuqiu Park to the north, which is part of the moat water system. The moat, stretching from Zhongshan North Road to the outer Qinhuai River embankment, is 1000 meters long and 120 meters wide, forming the aquatic landscape of Xiao Taoyuan.

On the river, fish play amidst the ripples, and willows sway gently along the banks. The garden is adorned with pavilions, towers, and rockeries, giving Xiao Taoyuan a distinct classical Jiangnan garden style.

More than 20 varieties of peach trees, including flowering peaches, fruiting peaches, purple-leaf peaches, and longevity peaches, are planted in the garden. Every spring, these peach trees bloom in various colors such as red, pink, yellow, white, and green, greeting visitors with a beautiful smile.

The garden is open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
