Xuyi Xiangshan National Mine Park is located in the north of Xuyi county urban area, on the right side of Huaihe Bridge. The project area covers an area of 2 square kilometers. It is a century-old mine that has been engaged in open-pit mining of construction stones since the late Qing Dynasty. The mining area was closed in 2002 and fully entered the stage of geological ecological environment restoration and governance as well as the development and construction of the mine park. It includes a mine geological museum, a geological relics display area, a mining practice display area, the landscape area of Xiangshan Grand Canyon, a riverside hydrophilic flower garden area, and a mine ecological engineering area. The total area of the core scenic area of the park is 3 square kilometers, and the planned total investment is 150 million yuan.
