The stone inscription of ‘The First Landscape Under Heaven’ is located on Beigu Mountain in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu. In March of the tenth year of Datong in the Southern Dynasty (544), Emperor Wu of Liang, Xiao Yan, ascended Beigu Mountain. Facing the magnificent scenery, he spontaneously wrote down six characters of ‘The First Landscape Under Heaven’, which has remained famous to this day. The existing stone inscription is the work of people in the Qing Dynasty. Opening hours: Open from 7:30 to 17:30 all year round.
