The Runzhou Taoist Temple was originally named Sanmao Palace and also known as Wong Tai Sin Temple. More than 10 buildings such as the Lingguan Hall, the Wong Tai Sin Hall, and the Sanmao Hall have been built successively. The Runzhou Taoist Temple faces west and was built in the Sui and Tang dynasties. It flourished in the Song dynasty. According to legend, the ancient immortal Huang Chuping (Wong Tai Sin) roamed here to collect quarry fat and left a thousand-year-old ancient well.
