The ‘Thousand Years of Gazing’ represents that there is an interval of about one thousand years between the lifetime of Master Xuanzang and the nirvana of the Buddha. The parietal relics of Master Xuanzang and the parietal relics of the Buddha have been buried together here for also about one thousand years. It perfectly presents the extraordinary karmic connection between the Dabaoen Temple, the Buddha, and the relics of Xuanzang.
