After being assassinated in Guangzhou, Liao Zhongkai was reinterred in the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanjing. Several years later, following the death of his wife, people fulfilled her wish to be together in life and death, and they were buried together. When his wife was buried, a cement pillar was removed from the tomb chamber, and her coffin was placed beside his, followed by the repair of the tomb. The revolutionary couple now rests eternally at the foot of Zhongshan Mountain.

The joint tomb has two arc-shaped tomb passages leading up, with dragon cypress and green pines planted on both sides, creating an atmosphere of solemnity and reverence. At the end of the tomb passages, a semi-circular platform is surrounded by a circle of stone chairs for mourners to rest.

At both ends of this platform, there stand two Huabiao pillars in the style of the Six Dynasties tombs, with lotus-shaped round covers on top, each with a stone BiXie on the cover. Entering through the two walls between the Huabiao pillars leads to the tomb area. Following the cement path in front of the tomb, one can directly reach a rectangular platform with a square pavilion on each side. Under each pavilion, there is a guard room, which was used by the guards who protected Liao’s tomb at that time.

Ascending a few more stone steps, the tall tombstone and tomb mound are situated here. The tomb mound is constructed of reinforced concrete, with the upper half being spherical with a diameter of 9 meters, and the lower half octagonal, surrounded by 24 round concrete columns. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
