Qingliang Mountain Park is located in the west of Nanjing City, on Qingliang Mountain, and is known as the ‘Seven Dynasties Historical Site’. It is a famous historical and cultural park, celebrated as the ‘urban forest’ due to its lush mountains and urban location.
Historical sites and cultural relics can be found everywhere on Qingliang Mountain, including ‘Zhumapo’, ‘Nantang Ancient Well’, ‘Qingliang Temple’, ‘Chongzheng Academy’, and ‘Sweeping Leaf Building’. The plaque of ‘Deqing Hall’ was personally inscribed by the Later Lord Li Yu. The temple used to house paintings of dragons by Dong Yu, calligraphy by Li Yu in the eight-part style, and cursive script by Li Xiaoyuan, collectively known as the temple’s ‘Three Unique Treasures’.
