Located adjacent to the Olympic Sports Center, the Green Expo Garden is bordered by Jiajiang to the west and faces Jiangxinzhou across the river to the east, with Binjiang Avenue to the east, nestled along the river with water as its companion. It features a main exhibition hall, exhibition greenhouse, service center, flower and seedling trading area, and 42 outdoor exhibition gardens along with three riverside landscape areas.
The garden is primarily known for its riverside green ecological landscape and is a large urban-themed park. 70% of the outdoor attractions include water features. Streams, ponds, fountains, water curtains, waterfalls, dry pools, dry sprays, and various other types of water features are all present, with the extensive use of aquatic plants adding to their charm.
