Jinling Art Museum is the first municipal art museum in Nanjing City, integrating exhibition, collection, and research. It encompasses three entities: Nanjing Calligraphy and Painting Institute, Jinling Art Museum, and Old City South Memory Hall. The total construction area of these facilities is 15,625 square meters, with Jinling Art Museum occupying 6,000 square meters, including five exhibition halls, a lecture hall, bookstore, art shop, gallery, resource room, and café among other specialized spaces.
After its opening, Jinling Art Museum can meet various exhibition and event needs, serving the local public and artists, and providing an ideal platform for cultural exchange with the outside world, becoming an important cultural landmark in Nanjing City and even in Jiangsu Province. The museum is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-17:00; closed all day on Mondays.
