The Huaian Government Office is constructed in three sections: East, Central, and West. The front part of the Central section serves as the office area, mainly featuring: the ceremonial gate, admonition stone archway, main hall, six departments, and the second hall; the back part of the Central section is the residential area for the prefect and his family, mainly including: the main house, eastern and western wing rooms, and Qingyu Hall; the East section is for welcoming guests and banquets, mainly comprising: the stage, Zuohou Temple, Bao Han Hall, Teng Hua Hall, Ji Xian Hall, and the backyard garden; the West section is the military and police office, mainly consisting of the main gate, ceremonial gate, main hall, second hall, main house, three class rooms, storeroom, post office, and post station.
