The Great Thanksgiving Holy Land was built in 1412 and was ordered to be built by Emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Di. In the middle of the 19th century, the glazed tower of the Dabao’en Temple was destroyed by the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom war. A lightweight nine-story tower is rebuilt above the tower foundation to protect the millennium underground palace and inherit historical memory.
