Baota Mountain Park, also known as the Sino-Japanese Friendship Meiying Garden, is located on Dingshi Mountain. The park is characterized by its quaint elegance, featuring rockeries, clear ponds, pavilions, and towers, all embellished with trees, flowers, and plants, making it a harmonious blend of natural and artistic beauty.
As the thematic park for foreign affairs activities in Zhenjiang, Baota Mountain Park is adorned with the city trees and flowers from its seven international sister cities, including Chinese plum blossoms, Japanese cherry blossoms, American roses, and Canadian red maples. The architecture within the park is distinctive, combining the style of Chinese gardens with the charm of Japanese gardens. Major attractions include the Sengjia Pagoda, Gong Zizhen’s Poem Stele, Xuezi Pavilion, Hongmei Pavilion, Nanxiang Pavilion, Qi Tian Pond, and the Cherry Blossom Cottage.
