Baihuazhou is located by the west lake of Jinshan Mountain, known as the Shadow of the Pagoda Lake. Constructed in 1978, it originally served as the garden of Jinshan Park. The first phase of the scenic spot was completed in 1994. From the flower trellis by the south lake shore to the stone archway in the northwest, the architectural complex is connected by corridors and extends along the lake in a meandering pattern. Baihuazhou features a main hall, a waterside pavilion, a gate tower, a sculpture of the Fairy of Flowers, and a stone archway. The ‘Qingfengxuan’ is inscribed by the renowned garden expert Chen Congzhou, while ‘Baihuazhou’ is written by the famous calligrapher Xiao Xian. Concurrently with the construction of the Baihuazhou scenic spot, the water systems of Jinshan River and Shadow of the Pagoda Lake were connected, and a new Jinquan River over 150 meters long was opened. A three-arched bridge, 20 meters long and 10 meters wide, was built on the river with stone railings on both sides, constructed entirely of granite, with the arches 6 meters above the water surface. The completion of the Baihuazhou scenic spot connects the Number One Spring, Furong Tower, Shadow of the Pagoda Lake, and Baihuazhou into a single picturesque area, with lake and mountain views complementing each other, making the scenery exceptionally beautiful. It further perfects and enriches the cultural connotations of the western part of the Jinshan Scenic Area and expands the region of the Jinshan Scenic Area. The lush green grass, winding bridges, and towering ancient trees all repeatedly cleanse your soul! Strolling on the grassy paths, you can truly make many worries disappear into nothingness. Open from January 1st to December 31st, 09:00-17:00.
