The Daming Phoenix Digital Art Museum, with an exhibition area of over 2200 square meters, is located in the Changguanli area, reflecting the grandeur of Zhonghua Gate Castle and Qinhuai River. It is adjacent to the Da Bao’en Temple Site Scenic Area and is a professional digital art museum dedicated to becoming an important showcase for digital art in Nanjing and across China.
The inaugural exhibition of the Daming Phoenix Digital Art Museum will introduce the ‘Painting Tour of the Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains – The Forbidden City Immersive Art Exhibition,’ creating a national treasure-level digital cultural and artistic feast. Relying on the cultural resources of the Forbidden City and combining with the most cutting-edge technology of the present, it offers a new perspective, new technology, and new concept for the digital display, visual communication, and scene presentation of the ‘Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains’ painting. The exhibition combines Eastern aesthetics, digital light and shadow, dramatic atmosphere, immersive interaction, and sensory experience to allow audiences to interact with cultural relics at ‘zero distance’, truly realizing ‘walking in the painting’.
Opening hours are from 10:00 to 18:00 all year round. Preferential policies include: Children: Free for children under 1.2 meters (inclusive); preferential tickets for those between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 18 years old (inclusive). Elderly: Free for those aged 70 and above (inclusive); preferential tickets for those aged between 60 and 69 (inclusive). Students: Preferential tickets for full-time undergraduate students and below. Disabled: Preferential tickets for the disabled (with a disability certificate). Military personnel: Preferential tickets for active-duty military personnel (with military officer ID, soldier ID, or military preferential certificate).
