The Shizigou Scenic Area in Qingzhou is located in Baiyang Village, Wangfen Town, in the southwestern mountainous area of Qingzhou City, Shandong Province. It is about 35 kilometers away from the urban area of Qingzhou.
The scenic area covers an area of 10,000 mu. The natural ecosystem is well-preserved, and more than 90% of the mountains are covered with dense trees. There are nearly 10,000 persimmon trees of various sizes in the mountain village, with an annual output of about 500,000 kilograms of persimmons. The persimmons in Qingzhou are of excellent quality and were high-quality tribute items of Qingzhou Prefecture as early as the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Since modern times, the dried persimmons in Qingzhou have mainly come from Shizigou. They are sold well in countries such as South Korea and Japan and are one of the pillars of earning foreign exchange in the region. The picking season of persimmons in Qingzhou starts during the Frost’s Descent period, which lasts about a month.

In autumn, red persimmons hang all over the Shizigou Scenic Area, making it the top choice for photographers. At the same time, the Shizigou Scenic Area has deeply explored the deep processing technology of persimmons. In addition to dried persimmons, there are also persimmon wine, persimmon tea, etc.

The opening hours are subject to the actual opening situation on the day.
