In 1948, after the liberation of Shenyang, the American missionaries returned to the United States. In 1958, various Christian denominations in Shenyang held joint worship services, and the Beishi Church congregation was merged into the Dongguan Church. The Beishi Church premises were then utilized as a comprehensive factory named Xingwu, run by the religious community of Shenyang, in accordance with the principle of church self-support.

In 1960, the Xingwu Comprehensive Factory was merged into the Dongfeng Comprehensive Factory, jointly operated by religious groups in Shenyang. Later, to accommodate the convenience of worshippers, the Beishi Church resumed Sunday services until 1966, when gatherings ceased entirely. The church premises were subsequently used as a factory run by the local people’s commune.
