The M Woods Art Museum is a private non-profit art institution officially approved by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and registered with the Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau. It was founded in 2014 by Lin Han and Lei Wanying (Wanwan) couple. The museum is located in the core area of the 798 Art District in Beijing. Its predecessor was a military factory in the 1950s. The museum opened to the public in 2014 and regularly holds collection exhibitions to display the collections in the museum.

In addition, the museum has also held many annual exhibitions, showing the museum’s unique perspective and stance on contemporary art.
