Zhongguancun Forest Park is located north of Aerospace City, south of Software Park, and east of Beijing-Tongzhou Expressway. It is one of the key construction projects of the afforestation project in the plain area of Haidian District this year. The first phase of the park is planned to cover an area of approximately 2940 acres and will be open to the public after completion. The entire construction period of the park is expected to last about 3 years. Once completed, it will echo with the historical gardens in the western part of Beijing, such as the Three Hills and Five Gardens (Longevity Hill, Fragrant Hill, Jade Spring Hill; Jingyi Garden, Jingming Garden, Changchun Garden, Old Summer Palace, Summer Palace), becoming the ‘urban green lung’ in the northwest of the city.
