Yan Mountain Park is located in the heart of Yanshan Satellite City in Fangshan District, adjacent to Yingfeng Street to the west, Yingfeng Middle Road to the north, Yingfeng Four Lane to the south, and next to Lanteng Shopping Center to the east, situated in an area densely populated with government offices and businesses. It is a large-scale regional and comprehensive park, covering a total area of 16 hectares, and was originally constructed in 1979.
The park is built according to the undulating natural terrain, reflecting the style of Chinese natural gardens. Over 80 types of trees are planted within the park, amounting to tens of thousands of trees, and more than ten thousand shrubs cover the hills and valleys like waves and tides. The park is dotted with granite bodies of various sizes and shapes, some towering and prominent, others exquisite and solid, scattered among flowers and trees, creating a unique landscape for this garden. The park features a dense concentration of attractions, including Red Leaf Lotus Pond, Four Seasons Garden, Art Garden, Ferris Wheel, Amusement Park, Water Park, Leisure and Fitness, Sky Corridor, Yan Dragon Pavilion, Zhiyuan Terrace, Flower and Fruit Valley, Zoo, Monkey Hill, Stone Sculptures, and Stone Carvings. The television transmission tower, standing at the highest point within the park, pierces the sky and serves as a distinct landmark for identifying the park’s location. From the winding Sky Corridor and the majestic Yan Dragon Pavilion, one can overlook the entire Yanshan Satellite City. As night falls, the boundless sea of lights and the soaring torch flames create a magnificent view that captivates the heart and soothes the mind. After years of diligent construction, Yan Mountain Park has become an important place for residents to relax, entertain, and visit.
