The Liubiju Museum, located in Xicheng District, spans two floors and is divided into four sections: ‘Food as a General,’ ‘Long-standing Tradition,’ ‘Rebirth from Ashes,’ and ‘Keeping Pace with the Times.’ The on-site exhibition features nearly a hundred artifacts, including account books, photographs, medals, seals, house deeds, abacuses, oil lamps, wine pots, plaques, and production tools. All of these bear the imprint of the old store’s memories through different eras and showcase the historical charm of Liubiju, a nearly 600-year-old establishment. To present the history of Liubiju from multiple perspectives, the exhibition hall also recreates scenes such as the Liubiju counter, accounting office, and soy sauce production process. The museum is open year-round from 09:00 to 16:30.
