Introduction:
‘Eagle Flying Upright’ is one of the extremely perilous sections of Jiankou Great Wall. It refers to a watchtower built on a protruding mountain. The terrain is precipitous and magnificent. Rising abruptly among the undulating mountains, even an eagle has to fly upward with great effort to reach the top when it comes here. Hence, it gets the name Eagle Flying Upright.
